Češi mají bohužel v zahraničí tak špatnou absintovou pověst, že změna přijde až za hodně dlouhou dobu. Ale jednou to přijde. Snad.

a určitě se přidávám k přání, aby jednou při promluvení o absinthe z čech komunita nevybavila pouze nekvalitní maceráty...

Musim sa priznat ze ma La Clantestine trochu sklamal, neviem ci je to tym, ze blanche absinthy mi nesmakuju celkovo (co neviem posudit. lebo zatial som mal moznost pit prave len La Clandestine), alebo mi vadi na nom, ze palina sa dostala do pozadia a hlavne slovo ma v nom anyz ... Mam z neho zmiesane pocity ...

I don't know how you like your absinthe normally; I prefer La Clandestine with 3 parts of chilled water (preferably straight from a mountain stream!). No sugar. And more as an aperitif (other absinthes may be better after dinner).

When I come to the Czech Republic, I hope we can share a few glasses together. And with all of you.

No offense It was only my frist touch with your la blue absinthe La Clandestine and also with blanche absinthe at all. So I can't judge your absinthe. The taste is not that I avait from absinthe. It is only my personal taste. Anyz is dominant and wormwood seems to be the second player in this absinthe. I can not say that your absinthe is bad, rather the contrary, the taste is very graceful and balanced.

I usually drik absinthe after work as aperitive and also after dinner I change the water ration in dependence on alcohol level in Absinthe. So 50% absinthe I like in 3:1 ratio.

By the way, Alan, there is this new Hemingway bar in Prague and the owner is eager to sell some good absinthe as well. Me and Martin are going to suggest La Clandestine of course, just FYI.
